Are there dances during the winter?

While the quick and easy answer is yes there are a few factors you need to have in mind. The winter it is a much slower time of year at clothing optional resorts. Though lately our weekends are picking up considerably it is not a guarantee that there will be a huge crowd every single weekend. While we are happy to put the music on for you and let you dance the night away you may be disappointed if you were expecting to see another 30 or 40 folks there too.

SO, if you are coming only for the dance in the winter Saturday night is always a better bet than Friday but some Saturday nights can be pretty slow as well. But then again some have been an all out crazy party both nights. Thus it is hit or miss during the winter. The summer is a non-stop party but winters are the best time to get to know a few select folks and build a solid friendship without getting lost in the crowds of summer.

Can I bring my own alcohol / drinks ?

Timberline maintains an alcohol license and serves beer and wine based drinks at our bar. Because of this we do not allow folks to provide their own drinks in any of the public areas. You may of course bring any legal drinks with you for consumption in your RV or rented unit but you cannot bring any drinks outside of your rented area. Under no circumstances do we allow glass of any type around the pool or hot tub area.

What should we bring, clothing wise? Please help so we don't look out of place.

Timberline Lodge & Resort truly maintains an atmosphere that is very relaxed and laid back. So anything from nude to jeans and a t-shirt will fit right in. Now at the dances the girls do like to get a bit dressed up and the lady half may want to bring some sexy outfits to show up the rest of the gals. But if she is more comfortable in jeans that is fine too. I can not say enough how great Timberline is and how accepting of ALL people the members are. So while you are welcome to dress to impress you will fit in best by just being yourself.

This will be our first visit to this type of resort what do we bring & what should we expect?

WOW, what a treat... the first time to a clothing optional resort. The fear and excitement of the unknown. The butterfly's running amuck far beyond just a belly. Oh I remember it well.

What to expect... Expect to come to a nice rustic campground & lodge where you will be immediately welcomed and accepted as family. Expect a lot of folks to say hello and welcome you and reach out to you to assist you in learning your way around the resort or with any questions you may have. Expect to feel like your at a family reunion full of loved ones whom you have not seen in ages and they have missed you tremendously. Expect to have fun and coming away from your visit having made many new friends some of whom may become lifelong friends. Expect to have fun while having the time of your life doing things you never dreamed you may do or by doing nothing at all but relaxing by the pool and campfire.

What not to expect... do not expect to come hide in a corner and feel left out or ignored. Do not expect pressure or uncomfortable situations. Do not expect to have to pretend to be anything or anyone other than exactly who you really are. Do not expect to see any children as those under 21 are not allowed in.

What to bring.... Bring a great attitude and expectation of happiness & fun. Bring some sexy outfits for Linda if she likes to get dressed up. You know the outfits I mean.. the ones that do not stay on her more than a few minutes at home. You see here she can choose to wear those outfits to the parties and dances and to keep them on as long as she would like. Bring clothes to wear if you think you would like to wear them LOL. Bring toiletries (if staying in a cabin). Bring towels to dry off and especially for sitting upon while at the pool or out in public. Bring your favorite bottled drink to put behind the bar for our bartender to mix for you all night long.

What not to bring... do not bring drama, stress, sorrow, bad attitudes, firearms or fireworks.

This is a place for fun and friendship and you will both LOVE it here and find yourselves returning many times though the year!
